Product Backlog

A Product Backlog is simply a list of all the work that needs to be done for a product in an Agile project. It includes things like new features, improvements, bug fixes, and technical tasks. Each item on this list is called a Product Backlog Item (PBI), and it can be a user story (a description of a feature from the user’s perspective), a task, or a bigger chunk of work called an epic.

The Product Owner is in charge of this list. They make sure it’s always updated, organized, and reflects what the business and customers need most. The items at the top of the list are usually the most important and detailed, ready for the team to start working on. The ones lower down might not be fully defined yet and can wait until future sprints.

In short, the Product Backlog is a living list of everything needed to build or improve the product.
